India mourns a heartbreaking tragedy, as lives were lost in the catastrophic Air India flight incident. Among them stood a shining beacon of courage — Sumit Sabarwal, a man whose bravery transcended fear. He made a conscious choice: to stay back and save lives rather than escape. Though he could have survived, he laid down his life for others — a sacrifice that defines the spirit of a Real Bharat Ratna.

Chairman, Indian National Human Rights Protection Council, and one of the nation’s leading criminal law advocates, paid heartfelt tribute:

 “Sumit Sabarwal is not just a name — he is a legacy of human courage. He gave up his life so others may live. True heroes don't wear medals, they carry hearts of fire and compassion. He chose not to jump for his life. He chose to stand with others in their final hour.”

Dr. Raju also extended his solemn tribute to:

All passengers who endured the trauma or lost their lives.

Brave flight attendants and crew members who fulfilled their duty until the very end.

Doctors, paramedics, and emergency responders who rushed to the scene with urgency and compassion, saving precious lives and offering solace amid the chaos.

 “Every life on board was sacred. Every effort to save was divine. To the injured and the departed, to the professionals who responded with duty and heart — I salute you. You are the unseen heroes.”
