About the Association

Indo-Asia Migrant Workers Association (IAMWA) is one of the largest and most structured collective platforms of migrant workers in Asia, committed to safeguarding the human, legal, economic, and social rights of migrant labourers engaged across Asian nations.

The Association functions as a dedicated wing of AICHLS (All India Council of Human Rights, Liberties and Social Justice), strengthening its constitutional and international human-rights mandate through focused action on migrant justice.

IAMWA operates at the intersection of human rights law, labour jurisprudence, public health, and diplomatic coordination, ensuring that migrant workers—often the invisible backbone of global economies—are seen, heard, and protected.

Vision

To establish a rights-centric, accountable, and humane migration ecosystem in Asia, where migrant workers live and work with dignity, safety, fair remuneration, and legal protection, irrespective of borders.

Mission

To protect migrant workers from exploitation, trafficking, wage theft, and arbitrary detention
To ensure access to justice, healthcare, and social security
To hold governments, employers, and recruitment agencies accountable
To act as a structured bridge between migrant communities and Indian Embassies, State Governments, and host-country institutions
To amplify the voice of migrant workers at national, regional, and international forums

इंडो-एशिया प्रवासी श्रमिक संघ (IAMWA) एशियाई देशों में कार्यरत प्रवासी श्रमिकों के मानवाधिकार, श्रम अधिकार, स्वास्थ्य, वेतन और कानूनी संरक्षण के लिए समर्पित सबसे बड़े संगठित मंचों में से एक है।

यह संगठन ऑल इंडिया काउंसिल ऑफ ह्यूमन राइट्स, लिबर्टीज एंड सोशल जस्टिस (AICHLS) की एक सशक्त इकाई के रूप में कार्य करता है।
